Every recipe tells a story, and every kitchen creates memories.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Nadine, and in 2020 I started sharing my love for South African food on YouTube. What began as a passion for cooking has grown into a wonderful community of people who love good food, meaningful traditions, and spending time in the kitchen.
For me, cooking has always been about more than just preparing a meal. I grew up in a home where the kitchen was the heart of everything. It was where stories were shared, memories were made, and everyone gathered together. I was especially inspired by my ouma, who has always had a passion for cooking and baking. She taught me that some of the best meals aren't rushed—they're made with care, patience, and love. Making things from scratch wasn't just something we did; it was simply part of life.
That love for homemade food is what inspired me to create Nadine Do.
My goal is to celebrate the incredible flavours, traditions, and stories behind South African recipes while making them approachable for everyone. Whether you're trying a family favourite for the first time or discovering a recipe you've never heard of before, I hope my videos give you the confidence to step into the kitchen and enjoy the process.
I believe that cooking should be enjoyable, creative, and something that brings people together. Every recipe I share is an invitation to slow down, learn something new, and create moments around the table with the people you love.
The 10K Collection
The 10K Collection is incredibly special to me.
These aprons were created to celebrate reaching 10,000 subscribers—a milestone that wouldn't have been possible without this amazing community. Every order represents someone who has supported my journey, cooked along with my videos, or simply believed in what I'm building.
I wanted these aprons to be more than just kitchen wear. I wanted them to be something you could wear while baking a birthday cake, preparing a family meal, or trying a new recipe for the first time. I hope they become part of your own kitchen memories, just as cooking has always been part of mine.
Thank You
Whether you've been here since my very first video or you've only recently discovered my channel, thank you for being part of this journey.
Your support means more than you know, and I'm so grateful that I get to share my passion for South African food with you.
Here's to many more recipes, many more memories, and many more everyday moments in the kitchen.
With love,
Nadine
